We have reached issue No. 12, and certain patterns have already emerged that we continue to follow. The content is organized into two sections. The first, titled “Results”—the central and most relevant section of an observatory based on journalistic sources—presents data on the protests. To begin with, it summarizes the data on the 2024 demonstrations and social protests for education in numerical terms. Next is the chronology of social mobilization for that same year. A month-by-month account, grouped into four quarters, provides a broad overview of the events, recurring themes, and trends in social mobilizations. The second section, titled “Reflections,” presents the results of a perception study on the single school day in Bogotá’s public schools.
