Abstract

This article presents a study conducted during Pedagogical and Didactic Practice 1 (2022-2) and 2 (2023-1) at the Veintiún Ángeles Public School, in Suba, Bogotá, focusing on Practical Laboratory Work (plw) for the development of scientific skills in teaching chemistry to an eleventh-grade class of 35 students. The study was structured into four phases and five openings, directly related to laboratory practices (identification of macromolecules and the difference between organic and inorganic matter), and evaluated using and analysis matrix. This allowed for the classification of skills acquired or enhanced by each student during the implementation of the project. The findings showed that, in addition to strengthening skills such as analysis and conclusion formulation, other skills such as observation, record-keeping, and the use of scientific language were simultaneously promoted.
