Abstract
This article aims to present the work carried out by the research group Centro de Estudos e Pesquisa Agrárias e Ambientais (CPEA), affiliated with the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences, Marília campus. Founded in 1988, the group conducts research and teaching and outreach projects in the areas of Geography and Sociology, focusing on topics such as the teaching of Geography and Sociology, environmental issues, food and nutritional sovereignty and security, and rural education. In this paper, we present the activities developed within the framework of the “Nós Propromos!” Project in Marília between 2022 and 2024. The project is carried out in collaboration with elementary schools in the São Paulo state network, promoting dialogue between the official curriculum and the teaching of Geography and Humanities in Secondary Education. The initiative involves collaborative research with elementary school teachers and university students, allowing participation in fieldwork, data collection, materials development, and school visits. This interdisciplinary and interinstitutional collaboration was essential for the development of the activities and had a positive impact on the communities involved.
