Abstract
The article describes the experience developed in the Mochuelo Alto Rural ced in the city of Bogotá with first grade girls and boys, who, from their interests and concerns generated by the proximity to the “Doña Juana” dump, are framed in Insects and applied to the processes of reading and writing, natural sciences and the arts. All this with the aim of establishing the school as a scenario of territorial resistance and achieving recognition and subsequent appropriation of rural territory in children. All this within the project-based methodology that presents as phases: 1. Contextualization of learning and motivation, 2. Previous conceptions, 3. Socialization of training purposes, 4. Approach of the evaluation strategy, 5. Development and potentialization of learning, 6. consolidation and reading of the progress of the project and 7. evaluation and projection of learning. Finding that the exploration of insects allows to link other processes, strengthen the territorial identity and play with creativity to learn in a different way from the recognition of the rural territory.
