Education in biology and citizenship building, document análisis
Abstract
Into the framework of the current development of the research project Education in biology and the construction of citizens: a Latin American perspective, the group of UPN research teachers belonging to the inter-institutional group Biology, Teaching and Realities, selects, reads and analyzes 20 papers presented at the V international conference of science teachers held in Colombia in 2011 with the purpose of identifying elements of biology teaching and construction of citizenship from the categories; perspectives in biology education, citizenship and teaching approaches; which, in turn, have different subcategories, which allow specifying the analysis of what was found from an analysis matrix created by the same group, as well as the literature bank that supports the creation of said instrument.
