Prácticas restaurativas: tendencias, vacíos epistemológicos y reflexiones para su comprensión en el ámbito educativo

Este artículo de revisión ofrece un recorrido nacional e internacional sobre el estado de la discusión académica en torno a prácticas restaurativas en el ámbito educativo. En este marco, presenta precisiones conceptuales sobre la categoría prácticas restaurativas, seguido de tendencias temáticas, epistemológicas y metodológicas; finaliza con reflexiones analíticas a partir de algunos vacíos epistemológicos identificados. El periodo de indagación corresponde a las vigencias 2018 – 2022. La búsqueda de información se realizó en bases de datos de revistas indexadas en el campo de las Ciencias Sociales, tomando investigaciones que aplicaron metodologías cualitativas que involucraran a niños, niñas y jóvenes escolares. Se concluye que, analizadas en su sentido formal, existe una robusta evidencia científica que respalda las bondades de las prácticas restaurativas formales; sin embargo, es necesario su abordaje desde enfoques que permitan profundizar en comprensiones sobre las prácticas restaurativas informales que se construyen en el espacio escolar.
