Resignificance and Reconceptualization of the “Educational Quality” Category — a New Approach, a New Perspective

Abstract
This article is a result of contrasting the existing literature on the quality of education and the results of a research carried out in the framework of the Master in Education Program of Universidad Pedagógica Nacional from Bogotá. This paper focuses on proposing a new vision of educational quality, covered in the research results mentioned above. The first part presents the theoretical concepts of quality, evaluation and teacher’s evaluation, which are re-addressed to propose a new conceptualization. The second part presents each of the concepts mentioned above, re-conceptualized in light of the research results.
